Ch 6 and Ch 11

Ch 6
I would prefer to be in a classroom that utilizes many different digital technologies.  It boosts the learning process for students by giving varied instruction to students who have different learning styles.  Some technologies I would use very often in my classroom would be clickers, e-books, and electronic whiteboards, or Smartboards.  I think all of these technologies offer so many useful tools to education.  It allows teachers to vary both the teaching style and the assessment style of their classroom to be the most effective fore every student.

Ch 11
An example of a traditional audio technology would be the cassette player.  An more modern audio technology would include internet audio, which allows teachers to use parts of clips instead of the entire thing.  Some uses for these would be to read audio books in an English class, or give examples of what native speakers sound like if you are in a foreign language class.  An example of a traditional visual technology would be print materials, such as papers and handouts.  A more modern visual technology would include overhead projectors, which allows teacher to focus all of their students' attention on the overhead.  You could use both of these in any classroom from a kindergarten class learning their letters, or a high school math class where you want to give your students examples of math problem.
